The Cumberland Sustainable Farmers Market brings together local farmers and artisans who wish to better serve you, the local community. Our Market is modeled after successful on-line farmer’s markets across the country. We are confident that this will be a useful way for you to connect with local food producers. However, this is still new and we expect to grow and change in the first couple of years. We love hearing from you and we appreciate any feedback on how we can better serve you.
By buying fresh, locally produced, foods we are not only supporting our better health. We are also promoting:
- a healthier planet through decreased dependence on the fossil fuels, chemicals, and the packaging needed to mass produce and ship foods long distances.
- a vibrant local economy through supporting local businesses,
- the continued survival of the family farm and an honest and worthy means of making a living.
Join us in nourishing our connection to our community with food and hand-made products we trust from farmers and artisans we know!
